1. Kongebok 9,16

14 Og Hiram sendte til kongen hundre og tjue talenter gull.

15 Nå er dette beretningen om den tvangsarbeid som kong Salomo innkalte for å bygge Herrens hus, sitt eget hus, Millo, Jerusalems mur, Hasor, Megiddo og Geser.

Farao, kongen av Egypt, hadde dratt opp og erobret Geser, og brent det med ild, og hadde drept kanaaneerne som bodde i byen, og hadde gitt det som medgift til sin datter, Salomos kone.

17 Slik bygde Salomo opp igjen Geser, og Nedre Bet-Horon,

18 Baalat og Tamar i ørkenområdet i Juda,
