5 De som er i ro, forakter ulykke,
som er forberedt for dem hvis føtter glir.

6 Røvernes telt er i fred,
og de som utfordrer Gud er trygge,
dem Gud har brakt inn i deres makt.

«Men spør dyrene, og de vil lære deg;
eller fuglene i himmelen, og de vil informere deg.

8 Eller tal til jorden, og den vil lære deg;
og la fiskene i havet fortelle deg.

9 Hvem blant alle disse aksepterer ikke
at Herrens hånd er ansvarlig for dette?
