14 Jeg vil sette min Ånd i dere, og dere skal leve, og jeg vil bosette dere i deres eget land. Da skal dere vite at jeg, Herren, har talt og har gjort det,’ erklærer Herren.»
15 Herrens ord kom til meg igjen:
«Menneskesønn, ta en stav og skriv på den: ‘For Juda og israelittene som er forbundet med ham.’ Ta deretter en annen stav og skriv på den: ‘For Josef, Efraims stav, og hele Israels hus som er forbundet med ham.’
17 Foren dem til én stav så de blir én i din hånd.
18 Når ditt folk spør deg: ‘Vil du ikke fortelle oss hva du mener med dette?’
