29 Så de spiste og ble godt tilfreds,
Og Han oppfylte deres lyst.
30 Men før de hadde tilfredsstilt sin lyst,
Mens deres mat ennå var i deres munn,
Steg Guds vrede opp mot dem
Og slo ned noen av deres sterkeste,
Og bøyde de utvalgte menn i Israel.
32 Til tross for alt dette, fortsatte de å synde
Og trodde ikke på Hans underfulle gjerninger.
33 Så Han endte deres dager i tomhet,
Og deres år i plutselig skrekk.
