36 "Mester, hvilket bud er det største i loven?"
37 Jesus svarte, "'Du skal elske Herren din Gud av hele ditt hjerte, av hele din sjel, og av hele ditt sinn.'
Dette er det fremste og største budet.
39 Og det andre er likt det: 'Du skal elske din neste som deg selv.'
40 Disse to budene er grunnlaget for hele loven og profetene."
