Matteus 14,22

Jesus

20 De spiste alle og ble mette, og disiplene samlet opp tolv kurver fulle av brødstykker som var til overs.

21 De som spiste var omkring fem tusen menn, i tillegg til kvinner og barn.

Straks instruerte Jesus disiplene om å gå i båten og dra i forveien til den andre siden, mens Han sendte folkemengden bort.

23 Etter at Han hadde sendt dem bort, gikk Han opp på fjellet for seg selv for å be. Da kvelden kom, var Han der alene,

24 men båten var allerede et godt stykke fra land, slått av bølgene fordi vinden var imot.
