22 Men jeg sier dere, det skal bli mer utholdelig for Tyrus og Sidon på dommens dag enn for dere.

23 Og du, Kapernaum, vil du bli opphøyd til himmelen? Nei, du skal gå ned til Hades. For hvis de miraklene som ble utført i deg hadde blitt gjort i Sodoma, ville den ha blitt stående til denne dag.

Men jeg sier dere at det skal bli mer utholdelig for Sodoma på dommens dag enn for deg.»

25 På den tiden sa Jesus: «Jeg priser deg, Far, himmelens og jordens Herre, fordi du har skjult dette for de vise og intelligente, og åpenbart det for små barn.

26 Ja, Far, for dette var velbehagelig i dine øyne.
