Markus 5,14

12 Demonene ba Jesus: «Send oss inn i grisene så vi kan gå inn i dem.»

13 Han ga dem tillatelse, og de urene åndene kom ut og gikk inn i grisene. Flokken, omkring to tusen i antall, styrtet ned den bratte skråningen i sjøen og druknet.

De som gjette grisene, løp av sted og fortalte dette i byen og på landet, og folket kom for å se hva som hadde skjedd.

15 Da de kom til Jesus, så de mannen som hadde vært besatt av legionen av demoner, sitte der, påkledd og ved sans og samling; og de ble fylt av ærefrykt.

16 De som hadde sett det, fortalte folket hva som hadde skjedd med den demonbesatte mannen og med grisene.
