¹⁷ Han spurte dem: "Hva er disse sakene dere diskuterer mens dere går?" De sto stille, så triste ut.

¹⁸ En av dem, som het Kleopas, svarte: "Er du den eneste som besøker Jerusalem og ikke vet hva som har skjedd der i disse dager?"

²⁰ og hvordan yppersteprestene og våre herskere overga Ham for å bli dømt til døden, og korsfestet Ham.

²¹ Men vi hadde håpet at Han var den som skulle forløse Israel. Og foruten alt dette, er det i dag den tredje dagen siden disse tingene skjedde.
