Fear Courage and strength Salvation God's presence

Da talte Herren til Josva og sa: "Frykt ikke og bli ikke motløs. Ta med deg alle krigerne og dra opp til Ai. Se, jeg har gitt kongen av Ai, hans folk, hans by og hans land i dine hender.

² Du skal gjøre med Ai og dets konge som du gjorde med Jeriko og dets konge, men du kan ta byttet og buskapen for dere selv. Legg et bakhold bak byen."

³ Så sto Josva opp med hele krigsfolket for å dra opp til Ai. Han valgte ut tretti tusen tapre krigere og sendte dem ut om natten
