6 Han instruerte dem: «Kast garnet på høyre side av båten, så finner dere noe.» De kastet det, og klarte ikke å dra det inn på grunn av den store mengden fisk.
7 Da sa den disippelen som Jesus elsket til Peter: «Det er Herren!» Da Simon Peter hørte dette, tok han på seg ytterplagget (for han var avkledd for arbeid) og kastet seg i sjøen.
De andre disiplene fulgte i den lille båten, og dro garnet fullt av fisk, for de var ikke langt fra land, omtrent to hundre alen.
9 Da de kom til land, så de en kullild med fisk lagt på den, og brød.
10 Jesus instruerte dem: «Bring inn de fiskene dere nettopp har fanget.»
