John

33 Og jeg selv kjente ham ikke, men han som sendte meg for å døpe med vann sa til meg, ‘Den mann du ser Ånden stige ned og forbli over, er den som skal døpe med Den Hellige Ånd.’

34 Jeg har sett, og jeg vitner om at dette er Guds Sønn.”

Dagen etter var Johannes igjen til stede med to av sine disipler.

36 Da han så Jesus gå forbi, sa han, “Se, Guds Lam!”

37 Da de to disiplene hørte dette, fulgte de Jesus.
