Job 6,18

16 når de er mørklagt av smeltende is
og fylt med smeltende snø,

17 men når de tørker opp, forsvinner de;
i varmen forsvinner de fra sitt sted.

Deres stier svinger;
de stiger opp i ødemarken og går tapt.

19 Karavanene fra Tema ser,
reisende fra Saba håper på dem.

20 De blir gjort til skamme fordi de hadde stolt;
de kommer dit, bare for å bli skuffet.

This was said to Israel at a particular time, so it is wise to read it together with the surrounding text. Do read the surrounding verses too, because the context often says more than a single verse.
