Jeremia 35,10
8 Vi har adlydt Jonadab, sønn av Rekab, vår stamfars røst, i alt han bød oss, å ikke drikke vin alle våre dager, vi, våre koner, våre sønner eller våre døtre,
9 og ikke bygge hus å bo i, og vi har ikke vingårder, marker eller avlinger.
Vi har bodd i telt og har adlydt og gjort alt som vår stamfar Jonadab bød oss.
11 Men da Nebukadnesar, kongen av Babylon, invaderte landet, sa vi: ‘Kom, la oss gå til Jerusalem for å unnslippe kaldeernes og arameernes hærer.’ Så vi har blitt i Jerusalem."
12 Herrens ord kom da til Jeremias, og sa:
