Jeremia 16,3

Judgment

1 En beskjed fra Herren ble gitt til meg:

2 "Du skal ikke gifte deg eller få sønner eller døtre på dette stedet."

For dette er hva Herren sier om sønnene og døtrene som blir født i dette landet, og om deres mødre som føder dem og deres fedre som avler dem i dette landet:

4 "De skal dø av grusomme sykdommer; de skal ikke bli sørget over eller begravet; de skal være som gjødsel på jordens overflate. De skal omkomme ved sverdet og ved hungersnød, og deres lik skal være mat for himmelens fugler og jordens dyr."

5 For så sier Herren: "Gå ikke inn i sørgehuset, og gå ikke for å sørge eller trøste dem, for jeg har trukket tilbake min fred, min kjærlighet og min medfølelse fra dette folket," erklærer Herren.
