1 Dette er hva Herren sa til meg: "Gå og kjøp et lintøy og legg det rundt livet ditt, men la det ikke komme i kontakt med vann."
2 Så jeg skaffet meg plagget som Herren hadde instruert, og la det rundt livet mitt.
Herrens ord kom så til meg igjen og sa,
4 "Ta plagget du har kjøpt, som er rundt livet ditt, og gå til Eufrat. Skjul det der i en kløft i fjellet."
5 Så jeg gikk og skjulte det ved Eufrat, som Herren hadde befalt meg.
