16 Hvem var de som hørte og gjorde opprør? Var det ikke alle de som ble ført ut av Egypt av Moses?

17 Og med hvem var Gud misfornøyd i førti år? Var det ikke med dem som syndet, hvis kropper falt i ørkenen?

Og til hvem erklærte han at de ikke skulle komme inn til hans hvile, hvis ikke til dem som var ulydige?

19 Så vi forstår at de ikke kunne komme inn på grunn av vantro.
