18 Blant prestene etterkommere hadde følgende giftet seg med utenlandske kvinner: Fra etterkommerne av Jesjua, sønn av Josadak, og hans brødre: Ma'aseja, Elieser, Jarib og Gedalja.
19 De lovet å sende bort sine koner, og for sin skyld presenterte de hver en vær fra flokken som skyldoffer.
