47 De tok i eie hans land sammen med området til Og, kongen av Basan, de to amorittkongene øst for Jordan.

48 Dette landet strakte seg fra Aroer ved kanten av Arnon-kløften til fjellet Sirion (det vil si Hermon),

og inkluderte hele Arabah øst for Jordan, så langt som til Arabah-sjøen, nedenfor Pisgas skråninger.
