9 Josva, Nuns sønn, var fylt med visdommens ånd fordi Moses hadde lagt sine hender på ham. Israelittene adlød ham og gjorde som Herren hadde befalt Moses.

10 Ingen profet har stått fram i Israel som Moses, som Herren kjente ansikt til ansikt,

for alle de tegn og under som Herren sendte ham til å gjøre i Egypt, mot farao, alle hans tjenere og hele hans land—

12 og for all den mektige kraften og alle de store gjerningene av ærefrykt som Moses utførte for hele Israels øyne.
