Så gikk Moses og talte disse ordene til hele Israel:
2 Han sa til dem: «Jeg er nå hundre og tjue år gammel; jeg er ikke lenger i stand til å lede dere, og Herren har sagt til meg: ‘Du skal ikke krysse Jordan.’
3 Herren din Gud vil krysse over foran deg. Han vil ødelegge disse nasjonene foran deg, og du skal ta deres land i eie. Josva vil også krysse over foran deg, slik Herren har sagt.
