6 Vi ødela dem fullstendig, slik vi hadde gjort med Sihon, kongen av Hesjbon, og ødela fullstendig hver by—menn, kvinner og barn.

7 Men alt buskapen og byttet fra byene tok vi for oss selv.

På den tiden tok vi landet fra de to amorittkongene som var bortenfor Jordan, fra Arnon-dalen til Hermon-fjellet.

9 (Hermon kalles Sirion av sidonierne, og amorittene kaller det Senir.)

10 Vi tok alle byene på sletten, hele Gilead og hele Basan så langt som Salka og Edrei, byene i kongeriket til Og i Basan.
