5. Mosebok 20,15
13 Når Herren din Gud overgir den i dine hender, skal du slå alle mennene der med sverd.
14 Men kvinnene, barna, buskapen og alt annet i byen, alt byttet, kan du ta som krigsbytte for deg selv; og du skal bruke byttet Herren din Gud har gitt deg fra dine fiender.
