4 Da talte Herren til Moses og sa,
5 "Ta imot disse fra dem, så de kan brukes i tjenesten ved møteteltet. Fordel dem til levittene etter hver manns tjeneste."

7 Han ga to vogner og fire okser til Gersjons sønner, etter deres tjeneste,
8 og han ga fire vogner og åtte okser til Meraris sønner, etter deres tjeneste, under tilsyn av Itamar, sønn av Aron, presten.
