1 Dette er fortegnelsene over familien til Aron og Moses på den tiden da Herren talte til Moses på Sinai-fjellet.

Arons sønner var Nadab, den førstefødte, Abihu, Eleasar og Itamar.

3 Dette var navnene på Arons sønner, de salvede prestene, som ble ordinert til å tjene som prester.

4 Men Nadab og Abihu døde i Herrens nærvær da de bar fram uautorisert ild for Ham i Sinai-ørkenen; og de hadde ingen sønner. Så Eleasar og Itamar tjente som prester i løpet av deres far Arons levetid.
