7 Moses la stavene foran Herren i vitnesbyrdets telt.
8 Dagen etter gikk Moses inn i teltet og så at Arons stav, som representerte Levis stamme, hadde spiret, blomstret og båret mandler.
Moses tok så ut alle stavene fra Herrens nærvær til alle israelittene. De undersøkte dem, og hver leder tok tilbake sin egen stav.
10 Herren instruerte Moses: "Legg Arons stav tilbake foran vitnesbyrdet, for å bli oppbevart som et tegn mot de opprørske, så deres klager mot meg kan opphøre og de ikke dør."
11 Moses fulgte Herrens instruksjoner nøyaktig.
