Envy and jealousy

8 Moses sa også til Korah: «Hør nå, dere Levis sønner:

9 Er det en liten ting at Israels Gud har skilt dere ut fra resten av den israelittiske menigheten for å føre dere nær til seg selv for å utføre tjenesten ved Herrens tabernakel og stå foran menigheten for å tjene dem?

Han har ført deg og alle dine medlevitter nær til seg selv, men nå søker dere også prestedømmet.

11 Derfor er det mot Herren at du og alle dine tilhengere har slått dere sammen. Hvem er Aron at dere skulle klage mot ham?»

12 Så kalte Moses på Datan og Abiram, sønnene til Eliab, men de sa: «Vi vil ikke komme opp.
