3. Mosebok 27,23

21 Når marken frigjøres i Jubelåret, skal den være hellig for Herren, som en mark viet til Ham; den skal bli prestens eiendom.

22 "‘Hvis noen vier til Herren en mark de har kjøpt, som ikke er en del av deres familiejord,

vil presten vurdere verdien opp til Jubelåret, og eieren må betale verdien den dagen som noe hellig for Herren.

24 I Jubelåret skal marken returnere til personen den ble kjøpt fra, til hvem landet opprinnelig tilhørte.

25 Hver verdi skal settes etter helligdommens sjekel, som består av tjue gera.
