13 I mellomtiden tok David flere medhustruer og koner fra Jerusalem etter at han kom fra Hebron, og flere sønner og døtre ble født til ham.
14 Barna som ble født til ham i Jerusalem var: Shammua, Shobab, Natan, Salomo,
Ibhar, og Elishua, Nefeg, og Jafia,
16 og Elishama, Eliada, og Elifelet.
17 Da filisterne hørte at David var blitt salvet til konge over Israel, gikk alle filisterne opp for å lete etter David. Og David hørte om det og gikk ned til borgen.
