8 Men Abner, sønn av Ner, kommandør over Sauls hær, hadde tatt Isjbosjet, Sauls sønn, og brakt ham til Mahanaim.
9 Og han gjorde ham til konge over Gilead, over Asjurittene, over Jisre’el, over Efraim, over Benjamin, ja, over hele Israel.
