29 Moses svarte: «Så snart jeg forlater deg, vil jeg be til Herren, og i morgen vil fluene forlate farao, hans embetsmenn og hans folk. Bare la farao være sikker på å ikke handle svikefullt igjen ved å ikke la folket dra for å ofre til Herren.»
30 Moses forlot da farao og ba til Herren,
og Herren gjorde som Moses ba om. Fluene forlot farao, hans embetsmenn og hans folk; ikke en flue ble igjen.
32 Men farao forherdet sitt hjerte igjen, og han lot ikke folket dra.
