6 Moses og Aron utførte Herrens instrukser nøyaktig som befalt.
7 Moses var åtti år gammel, og Aron var åtti-tre, da de talte til farao.
Herren talte til Moses og Aron og sa,
9 «Når farao sier til dere: ‘Utfør et mirakel,’ skal du si til Aron: ‘Ta staven din og kast den ned foran farao, og den skal bli til en slange.’»
10 Så gikk Moses og Aron til farao og gjorde som Herren hadde befalt. Aron kastet staven sin ned foran farao og hans tjenestemenn, og den ble til en slange.
