2 I seks dager skal arbeid gjøres, men den sjuende dagen skal være en hellig dag for dere, en sabbat med fullstendig hvile for Herren. Den som gjør noe arbeid på den, skal dø.
3 Dere må ikke tenne ild i noen av hjemmene deres på sabbatsdagen."

5 Ta fra det dere har et bidrag til Herren. Alle som er villige, skal bringe til Herren et bidrag av gull, sølv og bronse;
6 fiolett, purpur og skarlagenrød garn, og fint lin; geitehår;
