David
Obedience

1 Hiskia begynte å regjere i en alder av tjuefem år, og han regjerte i tjue-ni år i Jerusalem. Hans mor het Abija, datter av Sakarja.

Han handlet rettferdig i Herrens øyne, etter eksemplet satt av sin forfar David.

3 I den første måneden av det første året av hans regjering åpnet han dørene til Herrens hus og gjenopprettet dem.

4 Han kalte sammen prestene og levittene og samlet dem på torget på østsiden.
