Amaziah
Obedience

2 Han gjenoppbygde Elot og førte det tilbake til Juda etter at kongen var lagt til hvile hos sine forfedre.

3 Ussia var seksten år gammel da han ble konge, og han regjerte i femtito år i Jerusalem; og hans mors navn var Jekolja fra Jerusalem.

Han gjorde det som var rett i Herrens øyne, i samsvar med alt hans far Amasja hadde gjort.

5 Han fortsatte å søke Gud i de dager da Sakarja, som hadde innsikt gjennom Guds syner, levde; og så lenge han søkte Herren, ga Gud ham fremgang.

6 Han dro ut og kjempet mot filisterne og brøt ned muren i Gat, muren i Jabne og muren i Asdod; og han bygde byer i området rundt Asdod og blant filisterne.
