2. Krønikebok 25,24

Samaria

22 Og Juda ble overvunnet av Israel, og de flyktet, hver mann til sitt telt.

23 Da fanget Joasj, kongen av Israel, Amasja, kongen av Juda, sønn av Joasj, sønn av Joahaz, ved Bet-Shemesh, og førte ham til Jerusalem, og rev ned Jerusalems mur fra Efraims port til Hjørneporten, en avstand på 400 alen.

Og han tok alt gullet, sølvet og alle redskapene som ble funnet i Guds hus med Obed-Edom, og skattene i kongens hus, gislene også, og vendte tilbake til Samaria.

25 Og Amasja, sønn av Joasj, kongen av Juda, fortsatte å leve i femten år etter Joasjs død, sønn av Joahaz, kongen av Israel.

26 Nå, resten av Amasjas gjerninger, fra de første til de siste, se, er de ikke skrevet i Judas og Israels kongers bok?
