23 for dere er blitt født på ny, ikke av forgjengelig sæd, men uforgjengelig, ved Guds levende og varige ord.

“All menneskehet er som gress,
Og all dens prakt er som gressets blomst.
Gresset visner,
Og blomsten faller av,

Men Herrens ord forblir til evig tid.”
