17 Da sa Gud til Noah: "Dette er tegnet på pakten jeg har opprettet mellom meg og alt liv på jorden."
18 Noahs sønner som kom ut av arken, var Sem, Kam og Jafet. (Kam var far til Kanaan.)
Dette var de tre sønnene til Noah, og fra dem ble hele jorden befolket.
20 Noah, en mann av jorden, begynte å plante en vingård.
21 Han drakk noe av vinen, ble full og lå avkledd inne i teltet sitt.
