16 Når regnbuen er i skyene, vil jeg se den og huske den evige pakt mellom Gud og alle levende skapninger av alle slag på jorden."

17 Da sa Gud til Noah: "Dette er tegnet på pakten jeg har opprettet mellom meg og alt liv på jorden."

Noahs sønner som kom ut av arken, var Sem, Kam og Jafet. (Kam var far til Kanaan.)

19 Dette var de tre sønnene til Noah, og fra dem ble hele jorden befolket.

20 Noah, en mann av jorden, begynte å plante en vingård.
