24 Da vi vendte tilbake til din tjener, vår far, fortalte vi hva min herre hadde sagt.

25 Vår far befalte oss, ‘Gå tilbake og kjøp litt mer mat.’

Men vi sa, ‘Vi kan ikke dra ned med mindre vår yngste bror er med oss. Vi kan ikke se mannens ansikt med mindre han er med oss.’

27 Din tjener, vår far, bønnfalt oss, ‘Dere vet at min kone fødte meg to sønner.

28 En forlot meg, og jeg sa, “Han må ha blitt revet i stykker.” Jeg har ikke sett ham siden.
