32 De serverte ham for seg selv, brødrene for seg selv, og egypterne som spiste med ham for seg selv, fordi egypterne ikke kunne spise med hebreere, for det er avskyelig for dem.

33 Mennene ble plassert foran ham i rekkefølge etter deres alder, fra den førstefødte til den yngste, og de så på hverandre i forundring.

Da porsjoner ble servert til dem fra Josefs bord, var Benjamins porsjon fem ganger større enn noen andres. Så de festet og drakk fritt med ham.
