Så mennene tok gavene og dobbelt så mye penger, og også Benjamin. De skyndte seg ned til Egypt og sto foran Josef.
16 Da Josef så Benjamin med dem, sa han til forvalteren i huset sitt: «Ta disse mennene til mitt hus, slakt et dyr og forbered et måltid; de skal spise med meg ved middagstid.»
17 Forvalteren gjorde som Josef hadde instruert og førte mennene til Josefs hus.
