CushNimrod

6 Kams etterkommere var Kusj, Egypt, Put og Kanaan.

7 Kusjs avkom var Seba, Havila, Sabta, Raema og Sabteka; og Raemas sønner var Saba og Dedan.

Kusj ble far til Nimrod, som vokste opp til å bli en mektig kriger på jorden.

9 Han var en mektig jeger for Herren; derfor sier man: "Som Nimrod, en mektig jeger for Herren."

10 Begynnelsen på hans rike var Babylon, Uruk, Akkad og Kalne, i landet Sinear.
