24 Sjebu’el, en etterkommer av Gershom og Moses, hadde ansvaret for skattene.

Hans slektninger etter Elieser var:
Rehabja hans sønn,
og Jesaja hans sønn,
og Joram hans sønn,
og Sikri hans sønn,
og Sjelomot hans sønn.

26 Denne Sjelomot og hans slektninger hadde ansvar for alle skattene av de innviede gavene,
som kong David og overhodene for fedrenes husstander,
hærførerne over tusen og hundre,
og hærførerne hadde innviet.

27 De innviet en del av byttet vunnet i kamp for å reparere Herrens hus.
