5 Så de ble delt ved lodd, den ene gruppen med den andre,
for offiserene i helligdommen og offiserene for Gud var blant Eleazars sønner og Itamars sønner.

6 Sjemaja, sønn av Netanel, skriveren, fra levittene,
skrev dem ned i nærvær av kongen, offiserene, Sadok presten, Akimelek, sønn av Abjatar,
og overhodene for fedrehusene blant prestene og levittene—
ett fedrehus tatt for Eleazar og ett tatt for Itamar.

Det første loddet ble tildelt Jehoiarib,
det andre til Jedaja,
