8 Fra etterkommerne av Elizafan: Sjemaja lederen, sammen med 200 av hans slekt;

9 Fra etterkommerne av Hebron: Eliel lederen, sammen med 80 av hans slekt;

Fra etterkommerne av Uzziel: Amminadab lederen, sammen med 112 av hans slekt.

11 Så kalte David på prestene Sadok og Abjatar,
og på levittene:
Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Sjemaja, Eliel og Amminadab,

12 og sa til dem,
"Dere er overhodene for levittenes fedrehus;
hellige dere, dere og deres slektninger,
så dere kan føre opp Herrens, Israels Guds ark
til stedet jeg har forberedt for den.
