4 Da dronningen av Saba så all Salomos visdom, huset han hadde bygd,

5 maten på hans bord, setene til hans tjenere, oppmerksomheten til hans tjenere og deres antrekk, hans munnskjenker, og trappen han gikk opp til Herrens hus, var det ikke mer ånd i henne.

Da sa hun til kongen, "Beretningen jeg hørte i mitt eget land om dine ord og din visdom var sann.

7 Men jeg trodde ikke beretningene før jeg kom og så med egne øyne. Og se, halvparten ble ikke fortalt meg! Du overgår i visdom og velstand den beretningen jeg hørte.

8 Velsignet er dine menn, velsignet er disse tjenerne som står foran deg hele tiden og hører din visdom.
