Everyone worries. About health, money, the children or the future. The Bible does not pretend such things are small. It says instead that we can bring them to God.
Turn worry into prayer
Paul writes: Do not be anxious about anything, but let God know all you need, in prayer and with thanksgiving (Phil 4:6). He does not say you should stop caring. He says worry can become a conversation with God. The next verse promises that God's peace will guard your heart and mind.
He cares for you
Peter writes: Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Pet 5:7). The whole verse rests on God caring.
One day at a time
Jesus says we should not worry about tomorrow, for each day has enough of its own (Matt 6:34). It does not mean stopping to plan, but letting today be today.
Something you can try
Write down what worries you. Divide it into what you can do something about today, and what you must put down. Ask for help with both. Talk to someone you trust.
