6 “Likevel har Jeg innsatt Min Konge
På Sion, Min hellige høyde.”

7 Jeg vil forkynne Herrens dekret:
Han sa til Meg, “Du er Min Sønn,
I dag har Jeg blitt Din Far.

Be Meg, så vil Jeg gi Deg folkeslagene som Din arv,
Og jordens ytterste ender som Din eiendom.

9 Du skal knuse dem med et jernsepter,
Du skal slå dem i stykker som pottemakerens kar.”

10 Derfor, dere konger, vær kloke;
Vær åpne for veiledning, dere dommere på jorden.
