29 "Det fremste," svarte Jesus, "er dette: 'Hør, Israel: Herren vår Gud er én Herre.
Elsk Herren din Gud av hele ditt hjerte, av hele din sjel, av hele ditt sinn og av all din styrke.'
31 Det andre er: 'Elsk din neste som deg selv.' Ingen andre bud er større enn disse."
32 "Vel sagt, mester," sa mannen enig. "For du har rett i å si at Gud er én og det er ingen annen enn ham.
